V0.1
The big update!
Additions
- Added a pause menu! (Should probably have done it earlier lol)
- Rebinding added! Now you can change the controls if it makes you happy.
- Added music, SFX and settings to change their volume
- Added a new item! The spring, and a new level in the third position to try it.
- Added a new first level to better introduce the mechanics
- Now when you restart, the timer doesn't start until you make your first move
- Added another level to showcase moving platforms and rotating spike balls
- Added an option to show controls on screen to help debug/understand harder mechanics
- After importing ghosts it now gets stored and you can activate/deactivate each ghost manually
- Maps now have a 'star ghost'. They act as a way of showing how to get the first stars of a level to encourage improving your times
- Added another new level with a perma plate, once pressed, it stays pressed forever! (or until you die, whichever happens first)
- Added tutorials for general movement and advanced techniques!
Changes
- Increased jump velocity, acceleration rate and a few other things to make movement snappier and less floaty
- Tweaked wall jump, it should now feel better to do them
- Now, after restarting, time won't count down until you make a first input
- Joystick drifting should be less of an issue now
- UI Overhaul!
- Maps are no longer white and gray!
- Ghosts now have a tag with their name on top
- You can now play with controller's d-pad
Bug fixes
- Fixed a bug where if you dashed to a wall that ended over you, you would do a wall jump if you jumped, stopping your momentum
- Fixed a bug where checkpoints would sometimes break
- Fixed dashes not working properly with checkpoints
- Fixed all other known issues with rewinds and checkpoints
- Fixed restart key not working after finishing a map
- You can no longer get out of the map with a box
- The UI of the leaderboard now properly updates after making a new PB
