Devlog #1 New map design philosophy
Hello, new section here. I wanna start doing weekly devlogs to show you guys what I am working on and tell you my thoughts.
For this week, as you can see in this Tweet I am currently working on a new map. I have been analyzing how people feel in certain maps and this time around I am trying to go for a map that can be great fun in 1v1 by mostly focusing in just 1 hole or 2 in some cases, but always making them equally easy to attack and defend. Also, I want to avoid long and annoying maps like this one:
Don't get me wrong, you can have fun on this map and it has it charm, but I wanna go for a less "dense" map. From what I have seen, players can feel the uphill on here as quite a bit tedious, so I want to avoid that.
Anyways, what are your thoughts? Do you have any cool ideas you would like to see for the next map?
